Hello,
Iām Hrishikesh Singh (pronunciation š), a machine learning researcher specializing in computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, with a current focus on infrared small target detection.
My work involves developing AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges in defense and finance, leveraging synthetic data pipelines and advanced deep learning techniques to improve model accuracy in complex environments.
Previously, I have worked on AI-powered geospatial analysis, mobile mapping, and infrastructure modeling, contributing to large-scale projects involving LiDAR, 3D topographic mapping, and GIS integration. I have also been involved in research on natural language processing and causal-AI, exploring AI applications across multiple domains.
Research Highlights
Seeing the Unseen: The Quiet Difficulty of Infrared Small-Target Detection
A tour through one of computer vision's hardest problems - finding, tracking, and identifying targets that are just a few faint pixels wide in the infrared world.
Reinforcement Learning in the Wild: Building AI for Financial Markets
From academic RL papers to a live system ā the engineering and research challenges of deploying reinforcement learning where the environment reacts to your actions.
Mapping the Physical World: AI for Large-Scale Geospatial Intelligence
LiDAR, mobile mapping, and machine learning for 3D infrastructure modeling ā lessons from processing terabytes of spatial data and building AI pipelines for geospatial analysis.
